First performed professionally on both guitar and banjo at age 16 and continued for 10 years. Became a recording artist with Mercury Records at age 22. Performed at major venues – including Carnegie Hall in New York City – throughout US, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia. Composed and performed music for advertising, trade shows, industrial films and other corporate uses. Wrote music for award-winning album of Australian music group and songs for other recording artists.

Taught song-writing workshops throughout Australia, and began working with music as a means for communicating with and educating people with disabilities. Continued that work upon returning to the United States. Currently working in New York State.

Private studies in musicianship with Helen Hobbs Jordan, New York City. Composition studies with bassist Chuck Israels, New York City. Vocal studies with Erik Kroncke, Burlington, VT. Ongoing music studies in guitar, banjo, flutes, and percussion.
